The story follows a baker and his wife who wish to start a family, a witch who longs to regain her youth, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King’s Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. While the first half of their journey beautifully delivers their hard-won “Happily Ever Afters,” a giant beanstalk soon brings a new threat to the kingdom. Forced to face the real-world consequences of their actions, these iconic characters must band together to survive, learning that getting what you wish for is only the beginning.
