In Harmony is an exhibition of wood pieces and acrylic paintings by two friends George McCart and Joanne Lomas. In this show they bring together their distinct mediums in a perfect balance. George is a woodworker who showcases the natural beauty of wood, sometimes enhanced with custom epoxy colors, and sometimes left in its pure form to create stunning, functional pieces. Joanne is a painter who enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors. Her acrylic paintings express moments in these landscapes, blending realism with abstract.  Together, they present In Harmony, a celebration of how Mother Nature naturally inspires and shapes their artistic practices.

Meet the artists at the official Opening Reception to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1-3 pm at the Headwaters Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre, Alton, Ontario.
