Join us for the 14th Annual Ice Fishing Derby at Island Lake Conservation Area. Cash prizes for Northern pike, black crappie, and yellow perch in the adult category. Prizes in the youth category. Early Bird Prize: Register early before February 9 at noon for the opportunity to win an Individual Credit Valley Parks Annual Pass. A valid Ontario fishing licence is required to participate in the derby. Ontario Family Fishing Weekend takes place February 17-19. This is a license-free fishing weekend. No live outside bait.
