Event Details:
The Orangeville Lifesaving Club (OLSC) is a Town-based program that engages youth in physical activity and introduces them to the exciting world of lifesaving sport. This club-based program initiative promotes active living, skill development, and a strong sense of community belonging, all while supporting the Lifesaving Society’s mission of drowning prevention. OLSC introduces young swimmers to lifesaving sport, where they will improve stroke technique and endurance while incorporating increasingly complex aquatic skills. The program also promotes a healthy attitude towards competition – swimmers focus on achieving personal best times and improving their technique in a supportive, positive environment. Through weekly practices, participants will build lifesaving skills and enjoy friendly in-house competitions and Telegames. OLSC is a great program for anyone looking to stay active, have fun, and keep up with their swimming skills in a positive and team-focused environment.
