This program teaches your child the fundamentals of skating with the assistance of the parent in a group lesson format. Skates and CSA-approved hockey helmets are mandatory for both parent & child. Full face masks are strongly recommended. No bob skates.

Self lead session on our walking track located above Green Rink at Alder Recreation Centre.

Bronze Star develops swimming proficiency, lifesaving skill and personal fitness. Candidates refine their stroke mechanics, acquire self-rescue skills, and apply fitness principles in training workouts. Bronze Star is excellent preparation for success in Bronze Medallion and provides a fun introduction to lifesaving sport.
