Get Involved

Join us to help control the spread of invasive species at Island Lake Conservation Area. Together we will remove invasive species that are impacting the survival of native plants and animals.

What to Wear and Bring

• For your own safety, please dress for the weather, wear long pants, socks, and closed-toed shoes.
• Bring your own reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from)
• Sunscreen, bug spray and a hat

Event Details

• Registration is recommended
• This event runs rain or shine, with exceptions to severe weather. Registrants will be notified if the event is cancelled
• Meet us at our registration tent at the entrance of parking lot 4. Parking is available in lot 4.
• Washroom amenities are available
• Volunteers under 18 please bring a signed copy of our event waiver
• Volunteers over 18 please read and acknowledge the event waiver
